nice end to the weekend

I held true to what I said yesterday, and didn’t play any more poker except the NWP private tourn. (15th/21) Ghey. I didn’t want to chase the loss with some poor play, so I just didn’t play. I got a late start today because I didn’t wake up until 12:45, then watched bowling from 1:00 to 2:30. Did some running around, got breakfast/lunch, then came home and got caught up on NWP. Not much more there, just a bunch of multiple accounts.

And so I began. The session started out on with a bad omen; I pick up AA in the bb, and it gets folded all the way around to me =[. Needless to say, I didn't think it was going to be a good day. I ended up playing 137 hands and finishing +23.25$. I left that table because I saw a table with an avg. pot of 18$. I played 40 hands there and finished +1.25$. When I left, the avg. pot was 7$. Obviously the action dried up, so I bolted from there and found a new table that had an avg. pot of 14$. Best find ever!!

Obviously, perdi666 does not have a FOLD button on his ‘Stars account. Soon after I sat, he won a 47$ pot and had a stack of 80$. He easily chunked that away, reloaded for 20$ more, then another 8$. DONK DOWN. This is exactly why I love 1/2$ so much, all you have to do is win a few small pots and hover around even or so, and then win one or two of these type of hands (happens more times than you think), and boom, you’re up 50$.

Anyways, as the title says; nice end to the weekend. +95.75$ today in just 242 hands. CheckRaise is playing now, so I may sit in. But, I’m probably done until tomorrow. Don’t forget, NWP Radio is on tonight.
