Resuming my blog.
A lot has happened in my poker “career” since I last made an entry in my blog. I made 3 final tables in the first week of the Christmas Holiday, and I didn’t play the second week because I was up at Whistler with my family. On Sunday night I final tabled a $5 MTT with around 1800 participants, placed 3rd, and cashed $580. This finish doubled my bankroll to $1050. The very next night I played a $20 180 man SnG. I finished 2nd place in that, earning $720. I could have easily won the SnG only if I had won the last hand.
The hand played out something like this. (suits don’t matter)
Donkey: $160 000
Me: $130 000
Blinds: 1500/3000
I have the button.
I hold KK. Raise to 9000.
Donkey raises minimum.
I go all in.
He called with AKo.
Flop: Q J 3
Turn: Q
River: 10
After rereading my last blog, I apologize for writting it, and from now on I promise to make it a little more interesting.
Lately I have been playing a lot of $3/$6 Limit, Shorthanded and Full Ring. I will start to post hands that I found interesting/need advice on. I also play MTT’s anywhere from $5-$30 plus $38 SH SNG’s and $50 STT’s.
The other reason for making this blog is to vent. Some of the beats that I am taking are just sick, and it’s very hard to keep a cool head. The tables I select have the biggest donkeys, but I keep getting drawn out.
Today I played 3 tables of Shorthanded 3/6 and in 3 hours I dropped $600. This is definitely the sickest variance I’ve ever had, but I just have to keep grinding out.

3/6 Isnt the same as 1-2 or 2-4 you should not Multi table if you were not consistantly killing 1 table of 3-6 the swings in 3-6 are very noticable on a bankroll of 1800 or so
