The Poker Bus

Introduction

Hey guys, thought I’d introduce myself. My name is Josh (…really?) and I’ve been playing poker for around 10 months now. You can usually find me playing .10/.25 FH, .50/1 limit SH, SNG’s, and MTT’s ranging from 3$ to 10$.

I started out playing with play money on stars. I screwed around for a few months and then I started playing 40k/ fold games. That’s when you wait for the top 20 hands or so and go all in (or raise 40k, depending on how big your stack is). I had some fun with that, but it got to be pretty boring after a while.

After a while I decided that I wanted to play for real money. I was going to play 40k/fold for a few days and then I would sell whatever I had made for real money. I ended up making 6 million in 3 days. I sold it to some foo for 100$.

This morning was pretty great. I woke up at 10:30 and started playing 6 tables of .10/.25. On the first hand of my first table I picked up 55 on the button. Heres how the hand played out.

2 callers in EP. Guy in MP raises. They both call, as well as me.

Flop: 5h 3d 3h. Checks in EP. MP raiser bets 3$. One call, I raise to 8$. One of the guys that flat called in EP pushes all in for around 25$… wtf. MP uses his whole time bank up and then calls.. sweet.

Turn: 10s.

River: Kh. EP Idiot yells: YES!!!!

He shows A4h, and MP shows JJ. As he scoops the .60c sidepot he says, “Suckers”. I show my cards, and he leaves the table. +50$ in 2 minutes. I ended up playing for two hours, netting 90$. I had lunch and then went to the mall, where I got some new clothes and Battlefront II..
