Well I woke up really early today b/c the Newcastles and a belly full of food knocked me out at like 11PM last night. I decided to go ahead and get started on my comeback before my headache had tme to kick in. So I jumped on Stars at like 6AM. There wasn’t many tables going. I joined one 10/20 full, one 5/10 short, and one 5/10 full. Things basically went about as well as I could of hoped for and a half an hour later I already erased my 368 dollar debt from yesterday and added an extra $94 to the plus for the week. Heres an example hand from the 5/10 short handed to gve you an example of the way things should always go: Some guy opens and I 3 bet with KJ and it gets HU. Flop is A83. He checks, I bet, he calls. Turn is a Jack and he bets into me and I raised and he called. River is another Jack and he bets out again, I raise, he 3 bets, and I cap. He mucks QJ and take down a big pot that he could have easily avoided.

I watch a couple of episodes of 90210 and jump back on the tables and play for another hour or so on 4 tables making about 35-40 on each. After that I decide to actually go to the store and buy some food so I can quit eating out so much. Well, after stopping and getting something to eat, I arrive at Wal Mart. I decide I need to start eating better so I buy a bunch of apples and oranges, along with a bunch of frozen pizzas and hot pockets (gotta ease into it).

Anyways, I get pack and start playing again. I go down like 300 early. Pretty much I was getting a lot of 1010 and 99 type hands and 3 betting them only to have the flop come AQX and the people were donkbetting the shit out of me. I hate having to lay down repeatedly, as I tend to think people are pushing me off the best hand, but realistically theres no way I could have been ahead. Anyways my hands start to hold up and throw in a couple of donkstrikes and the next thing you know I finish up $860 dollars for the day and it was still early. I was pretty stoked about this.

About 6pm I decide to head to the Bellagio and look for this dude I kinda know to maybe talk about getting a place together, b/c my lease is ending and yada yada yada. I don’t see the guy, but I sit in the 15 game. Right away I call an EP raise from lady that never wins in the BB with AJ. The flop comes out J high 3 spades (I dont have any). I check raise her and she 3 bets me, I 4 bet and she calls. Turn is an offsuit Ace and I bet. She raised me, I 3 bet and she called. River was a very ugly King of spades and I bet and she raised and I mucked. Fisrt hand and Im already down over $200. I get down about $300 and then call in a multiway pot with 55. Grumpy old lady raises right behind me and everyone calls. The flop comes out 3 low cards all clubs but one them being the 5. The guy to my right bets, I raise, old grumpy lady 3 bets, folds back to me and I 4 bet and she calls. No club came and she called me down with KK (one of them being a club).

Some old dude put an awful donk strike on me. He raised K2 and 3 of us seen the flop. I had 77 and raised on a Q62 flop. He called me on the flop and the turn and I checked behind when a King hit on the river. Dumb fucker hits his miracle and then checks it to me. he was so bad. Another hand were we tangled I raised KQ, he called 2 cold along with the BB. Flop was K79 two clubs. I bet, he raised, blind called 2 cold, I 3 bet, he four bet, blind called 2 cold again and I called. I figured he either had clubs, KJ, or the same hand as me. The blind had to have clubs. Anyways the turn was a brick and I donk bet him and he and the BB called. The river was a Jack the only card I didn’t want to see besides a club. Now I lose to an open ended straight draw or KJ. The blind checked (I was going to fold if he bet out) ,I checked, and he checked behind and tables 97 for 2 pair. WTF? Why he didn’t bet there I don’t know. He has got to know after I checked river its good.

I didn’t get too much until I got KK in the cutoff and raised only to have the BB call me. The BB was lady that never win’s boyfriend and is rumoured to play better than her though everytime we butt heads I seem to cold deck him by the number of bets that go in. The flop comes out J high and he bets into me. I raise and he 3 bets and I call. the turn is a Queen and he bets and I raise him and he calls. The river was an Ace and he checked called me. The last hand I played was my AA vs. 1010 on a 8 high board. he just called me down after I 3 bet him preflop so the pot wan’t huge or anything. It seems like when I have 1010 in that spot I always lose a lot more, and it disappoints me when someone doesn’t go multiple bets with me when i have an overpair over an overpair. Anyways I left the “O” up $280.
