Why Pacific Poker players are so bad
Pacific Poker is known to have the softest games online. But why don’t better players join this poker room and take advantage of this? Well they do, but everything about pacific poker can turn a sane player crazy. Good players join to take advantage of the awful poker and then end up going on tilt and throwing all their money away.
Here’s an example of what happened to me last night.
I have an empty account that I haven’t logged onto in over two years. I couldn’t remember my password so I clicked the ‘forgot password’ button. I entered my username and email and it brought me to another screen asking for my full name, user name, email, phone #, and mailing address. So I entered all of that.
An hour later I get a reply thanking for me for contacting them. Then they ask me to kindly understand that they cannot give out passwords unless all details are submitted because passwords lead to secure information. They told me I still had to give them my zip code and country. Well obviously I’m in the USA if I’m from NY and zip codes don’t matter. Pacific support also asked me to confirm my phone number again.
So I sent them this reply
“Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve played at pacific poker. I’m an affiliate for pacific poker and I just need to take a screenshot for my website.
My full address is —-
The phone # I registered was either
house phone: —
Cell phone: —”
Pacific Poker support replied
“I you just need a screen shot of our logo or site then log in to
www.pacificpoker.com and take one by pressing the print screen button on
your keyboard.
For all future correspondence of this nature please contact
affiliates@pacificpoker.com
I hope that I have successfully answered your query. I bid you a
pleasant time playing at Pacific Poker.”
Well I need a screenshot of the table so I replied
“I asked for my password… can you please send it to me?”
So then they email me back first thanking me for contacting them and providing my details. Then they go on to say, “Mike, I would be more than happy to send your password however I would first need you to confirm your full address including the zip code, as registered with Pacific Poker.”
WOW!! I just sent it to them and all the history is in the email. So I reluctantly sent it to them again. Then they email me back thanking me for providing my details again but asking me to send them the same details again.
Wow! This whole thing made me want to give up on life and poker and just throw all my money away. After 7 emails I accomplished nothing. I’m not going to promote or recommend Pacific Poker to anyone.
Am I the only one that has these problems?
