Time Management

By dbirider, 31. Aug 06.

Time management is one of the hardest things in the world for me. I always get really wrapped up with one or two things and put everything else off. I guess that explains why I’ve been absent from the blog lately. I’ll try and fit everything I’ve been doing in the past few weeks in this post.

Right now my priority is a new site that I’m working on with Kjell. I really can’t say much about it because it’s still being developed, but it’s coming along great. It’s going to be more of a business then a poker site, but it’s still going to relate to poker.

For now my main job is designing the site. Making sure the layout looks good, increasing usability, and cleaning up the stuff nobody will ever see. I’m not the best designer, but the longer I spend on a project the better it gets.

The site’s going to be awesome. Every day we’re getting more confident about it. I’m not going to promise anything, but it should be ready in about a month.

Has anybody been railbirding the big games at full tilt poker? They’re absolutely nuts! $1000/$2000 limit games, $200/400 pot limit Omaha!! And they run regularly with all of the top pros. WOW. I never even imagined that I’d see stakes this high online. It’s amazing to see people winning and losing $100,000’s every day in those games.

I remember when $100/$200 limit holdem was high stakes. Now that’s like a middle limit game. And DanDruff was saying that $10/$20 used to be the high stakes online games. I guess it can only get bigger.

I’m also taking advantage of the Mansion sports betting promo. It would be retarded not to. Basically you have to bet $1,100 to win $1000 on the Steelers. If you don’t win they’ll refund your $1,100 bet. If you do win then you’re free to cash out $2,100.

I don’t bet on sports or watch football, but this is way to good to pass up. A no risk 50/50 shot at $1000. I even got my brother to do it.

Right now I’m living in California (opposite side of the country) for a few weeks. The Mexican food is so much better here! 7/11 slurpees are also surprisingly better for some reason. I brought by bike so I can find some new street spots and ride some skate parks.

Oh and did everyone hear that Samuel L Jackson visited my site, Poker on a Mac?! Yeah it’s true.

Ummm… that’s about all. I gotta get back to working on the new site again. It’s going to be so good :P
