Online Poker, Crazy phone calls, and the Wcoop

By dbirider, 18. Sep 06.

I just got off the phone with a lady (60’s or 70’s?) who called me about issues with casinoroom. That caught me off guard. I have a few casinoroom banners up here and there, but I definitely don’t work for them. I didn’t even know that my name and phone number was online. It was very weird.

Being the nice person that I am, I took down her email address and said that I’d send her casinoroom’s contact information. The email I sent didn’t work, so I called her back. I got through to an answering machine that says she was currently meditating (maybe to relieve frustrations with casinoroom?). So I left a message saying that she can go to casinoroom.com/support/, and that I hope they quickly fix her problem, and good luck. I think I handled that well :)

I’m still working on this new site with Kjellstroem. I think any serious online poker player will be interested in what the site offers. That’s pretty much all I can say about it right now :? We’re trying to have it ready by October 1st.

I’ve been going to sleep at around 6am every day because I’m addicted to watching the WCOOP events. Joe Hachem is still in the PLO rebuy tournament with an above average stack just outside of the money. I really hope he makes the final table. He also made it deep in the first razz event. Hachem is sick at huge field tournaments.

I’m going to play in tomorrow’s $200 HU WCOOP tournament. If it maxes out at, 2048 players 1st prize will be $69,500. It will take 11 consecutive wins to come out in first, which is definitely possible!

Blogger tournaments

Dadi #9 will be on the 29th on full tilt poker. Besides playing for the prize pool, an iPod shuffle, and Vegas poker pro points, you should join just because it’s a crap load of fun!

Also i’m going to set up another bloggerpods tournament soon on Poker on a Mac. Last time I gave away a 30gb ipod, a 2gb ipod nano, and a 512mb ipod shuffle. This time I’ll be adding an 80gb ipod, a 4gb ipod nano, a 1gb ipod shuffle, and a few more prizes. I’m hoping to hold it some time around the end of October.
