Need a Big Win

It’s 5am right now. I was about to go to sleep about an hour ago, but then I saw that Mortal Kombat is on and I can’t resist watching it. The movie would be so good if they remade it with a bigger budget and an R rating. Someone call Peter Jackson.

So I was thinking that I really need to win a big tournament. Like the PokerStars Million dollar guaranteed. I’m sick of grinding out a few hundred here and there, and just want to win $150,000. No more winning satellites and cashing out, I’m going to start playing some of the bigger tournaments.

Lets see, if I was even money with 6000 entries I’d have a 1 out of 666 shot and making the final 9. Hmm… actually that kind of sucks. It could take me 11 years playing every week just to make a final table. I guess I’ll just stick with grinding away profits since it seems to work for me.

Maybe I can come up with some crazy viral website idea, like the million dollar homepage. I know that’s what Kjell’s trying to do. He just started http://thisisthead.com, which features a single homepage ad that you can buy it for slightly more then the previous ad. The goal is that as the price goes up, more people will start talking about the site, which would make the ad more valuable. I had the second ad on the site, which lasted about a week, and it brought in some good traffic.

I wonder what else I can do to get rich quick with minimal risk and work. Hmmm…. Well if anyone knows of any, please let me know.
