Midweek Poker Update

First i have to apologize for the last few sob stories. I know nobody cares about me getting beat by a 3 outer, but it’s my blog so BACK OFF!!! Well actually I was just in the mood to write something, and couldn’t think of anything else to put up. I even came out ahead around $80 after 36 sit and go tournaments that day.

So for the update: I don’t have the exact numbers, but in the past week with sit&go’s I’m up just under $600 and I’ve had about 11 1st’s, 15 2nd’s, and 13 3rd’s. I’m pretty happy with that… It’s better then a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!

Wednesday I took a break from sit and go tournaments to play some (alot) of limit holdem. I woke up at 10:45am yesterday, opened up 6 holdem tables (three 2/4 games and three 3/6 games) at 11, and played for 7 hours until 6pm. I finished down $265, but I’m sure i’ll more then make up for that loss in rakeback (*cough*165%*cough*). I’m not sure if I can pull another 7 hour session, but tomorrow is also that last day of this whacky promotion. We’ll see.

By the way, did anyone notice the new pokerstars FPP store update? They got rid of a bunch of fun electronics a month back, but they recently replaced it with a bunch of other cool stuff.

I only need 1,500 more fpp’s to get the iPod nano i’ve been playing for, but now i’m not so sure if i’ll get it. CasinoRoom’s sending me an iPod at the end of the month, so well.. I don’t think I’m going to need another. Perhaps I’ll get 30 Chris MoneyMaker posters and wallpaper my room? Or I could get the Bose iPod dock to go with my new iPod, but that would obviously make to much sense.
