Good Poker Sesh
The cards ran good today! I played some $25+2 turbo sit&go’s . Turbo sit&go’s fit my style because I can’t sit still for more then an hour while playing poker. That’s why I like playing heads up games to.
I played two rounds of six games. They fill up so fast, so it only takes about 2 minutes to get registered in six sit and go tournaments.
Everything was going right during the first round of 6. Players were folding to my semi bluffs and blind steals, I was flopping good hands, and for the most part I didn’t even get in 50/50 situations because either the other player would fold to my bets, or I had the best hand. I ended up getting two first, a second, and a third. I might have done even better, but I mis-clicked and folded QQ pre-flop on one of the tables I bubbled on. That’s one of the drawbacks of playing 6 tables at once.
After the first 15 minutes of the second round of sit and go tournaments I wasn’t expecting much. I was card dead on all the tables and didn’t get any good stacks built up. But then once the blinds got big I started playing really aggressive, got away with some crazy steals and ended up doing really good. I got two mores first and another second this time.
So after 12 games I got 1st four times (woo!), 2nd twice, 3rd once, and finished ahead $306. Hopefully I’ll continue running good for the rest of the month, or until I have enough frequent player points for an iPod, which is really why I’m playing.
