Full Tilt Poker releases Mac software

New Macintosh poker rooms are popping up all the time now. Full Tilt Poker just released a downloadable version of their software for Mac OS X computers.
I run all my Mac or PC poker rooms on a Mac PowerBook. To run PC only rooms I had to use a crappy PC emulator called virtual PC and The only poker room I can use on it is PokerStars which happens to run flawlessly. Full Tilt Poker kind of worked, but the rest of the poker rooms lag like you’re running a 56k modem in the 90’s.
The new Mac version of Full Tilt Poker is awesome! It downloads right into your applications folder and runs like any other Mac application. The mac software looks almost exactly like the PC version of Full Tilt Poker. It’s still in the beta version but I don’t see any bugs on the Mac Full Tilt Poker at all.
Most people don’t like using Macs, but after switching to an apple computer from a virus and spy ware filled PC, I would never go back. There are literally no major viruses for a Mac. I haven’t heard of any at least. I’ve had a PowerBook for over a year now and have never had any spy ware or popups. The only drawback there to using a Mac is there was no Macintosh poker software. But now with PokerStars running fine on virtual pc and poker sites like Full Tilt Poker coming out with new Mac compatible software that’s not a problem any more.

Shouldn’t it be choices, senses and “there are” instead of choises, sences and “their are”.
I’m swedish so I could of course be wrong, but if I’m not, the site would probably look more serious with less mistakes
I like the idea for the site though

I have loaded Full Tilt Poker Macintosh client and it works fine on my eMac. I have been playing for 4 years at http://www.pokerroom.com which has a Java client that runs very smoothly on a Mac or a PC.
I plan to fund my Full Tilt account and play there, at least long enough to earn the $600 bonus that I will get for signing up. Still, I find it a step down from the classy Java client that PokerRoom offers. I can and have sat down at computers at friends, relatives and even in computer stores, logged on and played, using the PokerRoom Java client. That is a capability that you just do not have with download clients.

The poker world has been open to the Mac users for some time, but now the options are much wider. There is also a nice tracking application that works with PokerRoom, called MacPoker Pro. You can use it as a demo or register it for $40 as I have done. I am sure that it will more than pay for itself.

I loaded full tilt software on my G4 and wow… is all I can say. I have to agree with the editor it runs and looks really good. You can tell the programmers at full tilt have taken a lot of time to work out most of the bugs before releasing it. I know they will continue to upgrade any programming errors but its a must download for all Mac users that love poker. Check it out.
